Beckett keeps to no faction and works The Yard as a Poodle who is the kind of pup who walks past plain and chooses something braver. On slow afternoons Beckett dyes ribbons in the colors of a dream they can almost remember and lets the breeze make most of the decisions. The Yard has a small unspoken rule about teasing Beckett near the door marked K N L, mostly because nobody wants to lose. Beckett believes the best future is built one well kept friend at a time.
